Points to bear in mind when making submissions:

News Items

– All news for the Ballincollig Advertiser handed in at our office must be submitted as a typed text document on a disc.
– All submissions via email as an attachment in a recognised text format.

Photographs

– Photographs handed in to our office must be on a disc or media card - we will not accept hard copies.
– If you need to scan the images to disc for submission to the Ballincollig Advertiser, scan images at a minimum resolution of 300ppi.
– Do not alter image size, do not adjust colour tones or contrast, do not adjust light levels - our staff will do that on receipt of images.
– Photographs sent to us via email for publication must be high resolution images - send the original full size image only.
– Send an accompaning text document clearly detailing the information for each photograph and its corresponding number.
– Professional photographers when submitting should have all information relevant to each photograph embedded in Photoshop file info.

Important Notice

– All photographs remain the copyright property of the photographer.
– All photographs used will be credited.
– Photographic submissions may appear on the website www.ballincolligonline.ie only for as long as the news item that they accompany remains in place. On replacement of the news item - all copies of the images will be deleted from our system. They will not appear in our photo galleries.
